Strike One uses the S.A.F.E.™ Pitching Mechanics Methodology to assess a pitcher's movement, identify opportunities for improvement, and build a progressive path from controlled drills to execution on the mound.
At each Strike One session, our coaches use video analysis and performance observations to evaluate a pitcher's mechanics, identify development priorities, and establish a focused plan for improvement. Through targeted drills and purposeful repetition, athletes work to develop more efficient, repeatable movement patterns.
We document each athlete's progress, evaluate how movement patterns respond to coaching, and determine the appropriate next steps. Our ongoing video analysis helps us assess whether improvements developed during drills are carrying over to the full pitching delivery—and where additional work may be needed.
Development doesn't happen in a single session. Strike One maintains a longitudinal record of each athlete's observations, training progress, and performance, allowing coaches to compare movement over time and make informed decisions about what comes next.
The result: A more deliberate, evidence-informed approach to pitching development, built around the individual athlete and designed to guide progress over the long term.
